As the Online High Street
becomes ever more competitive the need for a prime location is high.
Generic domain names are not only memorable but they often coincide
with popular search phrases, helping them to perform well in search
engines, for at least the matching keywords. In short, they have
a natural tendency to draw traffic. How you reach
that traffic will depend on your own needs, but by renting one of
our domain names you take effective control of it and all the traffic
you can reach is yours and paid for!
We can advise on you of ways to utilise your "new home",
and even help set you up with a partner account so that (for their
small additional fee) you can build your own website
using online templates and site builder software. We'll also make
you aware of some of the exciting new features we're planning for
the future. As more of our "properties" find tenants we'll
be encouraging you to freely exchange traffic with other network
domains, via the growing Harpoon.net portal.
We're offering all of our leases on a first come first served basis
(subject to approval). Leases will be of 1 to 5 years duration
(subject to domain), with an automatic renewal
option to ensure your continuity. The majority of our domains will
be priced between £20-£40/month, depending upon
the category and the keywords in question. You're free to display
your own branding, build your own Micro-Site,
Campaign Landing Page or Online Shop.
We maintain control of the domain configuration and can point it
to your own hosting servers, but you'll need to provide your own
hosting space (we can advise you on this). You can rent more than
one domain, but we may on occasions restrict numbers subject to
availability. A small number of our domains are reserved for our
own development and will in time offer further opportunities for
lease holders for advertising and promotion.
